My connection to golf started before I could even walk. My parents used to set me in a walker with a metal ring, a golf club, and a few balls while they practiced on the range. I was hooked from the start. That early introduction grew into a lifelong passion—not just for golf, but for sports as a whole. As a kid, I played everything that was available: golf, tennis, baseball, basketball, and football. That broad athletic experience shaped how I view the golf swing today. I don’t believe in forcing players into a single method. Every athlete moves differently, learns differently, and brings their own strengths to the game. My job isn’t to change who you are—it’s to help you discover a swing that works with who you are.
Over the years, playing alongside and competing against many incredibly talented athletes, I developed a strong sense of how people move—what their bodies are capable of, and what holds them back. That awareness gradually pulled me toward teaching. It wasn’t something I chased—it just happened naturally. I found myself helping others figure out their swings, making adjustments based on what I saw in real time. And the more I taught, the more I realized how important it is to meet each player where they are. Everyone’s got their own swing in there somewhere. You just need someone with the eyes and patience to help you find it.
